Hello! This is my 12th year as an educator, all with DCSD. I've worked at Sudlow and North as an English Language Arts teacher, supporting grades 6-12 and classes from reading intervention to AP/Honors. This will be my first year as a Tech Innovator, supporting Buffalo, Fillmore, and McKinley. In my little free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters (ages 7 & 3), video games, Disney movies, and reading.

Hi I am Sarah Nelson and I have been teaching for 21 years with ten in Davenport. I have taught grades PS-7th grade and worked as a building coach and currently am a technology innovator. For the 2025-2026 school year I will be working at Children's Village West, Jefferson and Madison. I love running, working out, traveling, hanging out at the pool, and binge watching TV. Hi, I’m Dan Pepper, and I’m starting my 15th year with Davenport Community Schools. I began my career as a middle school choir director at Sudlow, a role I loved until 2020, when I transitioned into my current position as a Technology Innovator. The shift from music to tech was a natural one—directing a choir often means wearing every hat: tour manager, fundraiser, sound and lighting tech, music librarian, and more. That experience helped me develop a strong sense for systems—what works well, what doesn’t, and how to build solutions that make a real difference.
